Think fast–how many different uses can you think of for the humble towel? Besides the obvious one of drying your hands! You can wrap a loaf of bread fresh from the oven. You can line a basket of muffins to take to a community breakfast. You can display the special ones as “show towels” like the Scandinavians used to do. I have probably woven more towels than any other item. I can wind a 10-yard warp and get 10 different towels, each with its own personality.
